The School of Chemistry and Biochemistry has purchased a site license for the MestreNova NMR software as well as the qNMR and Reaction Monitoring plugins. The software is available to all GT faculty, staff, and students. In order to use the software, you should obtain the software, plugins and associated license files from software.oit.gatech.edu.

Mestrelab Research develops MestreNova (Mnova) software for processing, analysis, reporting and managing 1D and 2D NMR and LC/GC/MS data on desktop computers (Window, Mac or Linux). The Mnova software package currently includes the following plugins.

Introduction to MestReNova MS Plugin HS 2020 2 For data access refer to the following: LC-MS data can be accessed remotely in the UZH network (switch the VPN on if required). Access to your data with explorer (Win) or Mac (finder) using following link. Minimum system requirements Windows 7 or higher OS X 10.13 or higher. Pentium 300 MHz, 128MB RAM, Video Adapter Super VGA (800 x 600) with X11, OpenSSL and OpenGL libraries.

Windows Install

1. Download the MestreNova msi installer and GT_campus_Mnova_NMR_v1.13.lic files from software.oit.gatech.edu. Also download the zip files and license files for the qNMR and Reaction Monitoring (RM) plugins if desired.

2. Double click the MestreNova installer msi file. Click Next.

3. Accept the terms and click Next

4. Click Next

5. Select the desired components and click Next

6. Click Install

7. Click Finish

8. Open MestreNova NMR. The Registration Wizard will pop up asking for a license file. Click Install.

9. Browse to the location where the license file GT_campus_Mnova_NMR_v1.13.lic was saved and select it. Click Open.

10. Click OK.

11. Click Close on the Registration Wizard window.

12. Restart MestreNova.

Mac Install

1. Download the MestreNova msi installer and GT_campus_Mnova_NMR_v1.13.lic files from software.oit.gatech.edu. Also download the zip files and license files for the qNMR and Reaction Monitoring (RM) plugins if desired.

2. Open the MestreNova .dmg installer file.

3. Drag the MestReNova Icon to the Applications folder

4. Open MestreNova from Applications

5. You may get an error message about permissions. Allow MestreNova to correct the permissions.

6. On the Registration Wizard screen, click Install to install the license file that you downloaded with the software.

7. Browse to the location of the GT_campus_Mnova_NMR_v1.13.lic file and select it. Click Open.

8. Click OK.

9. Click Close on the Registration Wizard window.

10. Restart MestreNova

Plugin Install

1. Download the zip files and license files for the qNMR and Reaction Monitoring (RM) plugins from software.oit.gatech.edu.

2. Open the MestreNova NMR program.

3. Double clicking on the Licenses icon in the lower right hand corner of the MestreNova window to bring up the Registration Wizard.

4. Click the Install button to install the license for the plugin.

5. Browse the the downloaded license file, select it, and click Open

6. Click OK.

7. Drag and drop the plugin .zip file to the main workspace in MestreNova. This will automatically begin the installation process.

Mnova is the natural evolution of our very popular application MestReC. However, it is more than a
new version of MestReC. Whilst including all the NMR processing and analysis functionality present in
MestReC, it is a completely new development and a completely new concept which will open up a
whole new range of possibilities when storing and sharing data within organizations, changing the way
in which scientists process and report NMR and LC/GC/MS data. Mnova has been designed to make
NMR and LC/GC/MS both more convenient and more powerful, and to give the user improved results

The program provides a variety of conversion facilities for most NMR and LC/GC/MS spectrometer
and chromatogram formats and includes all the conventional processing, displaying, and plotting
